Important! Please review the below list before adding tracking tags. Inform your OMG Contact regarding any queries or should you require support:

  • Sale/Conversion tracking tags (provided separately) added to thank you pages on your desktop site and any seperate mobile friendly websites. A separate tag must be placed on each product’s thank you page. Ensure you have informed us if you have the same thank you page for all products.
  • Sale/Conversion confirmation tags must activate every time the thank you page loads (even if the user leaves the site and returns later on) to ensure OMG affiliate sales are tracked within the cookie duration. Also you may wish to consider Tracking De-Duplication if you are running your Affiliate Campaign with more than one Affiliate Network.
  • A unique sale reference (typically an order ID or policy number) must be passed into our Sale/Conversion tag’s APPID field (used for sale/conversion validation purposes)
  • The sale/conversion value (typically an order value or policy value) can be passed into our Sale/Conversion tag’s STATUS field (optional) – your OMG contact will advise if this is an essential requirement.
  • Universal tags (provided separately) added to selected pages in user journey. This enables Sales funnel reporting, engagement with re-targeting publishers and cross-device tracking  (subject to your approval).
  • Additional sale/conversion data (extended data) passed into our Sale/Conversion tag  – your OMG contact will advise if this is an essential requirement.
  • Cookie duration – affiliate sales are tracked within a standard 30 days
  • Mobile sites – our tags must be added to any separate mobile sites (m.site)
  • Campaign Analytics – provide OMG with campaign codes or campaign URLs for any analytics platforms e.g. Google Analytics
  • Product landing pages (and / or any 3rd party tracking URLs) supplied to OMG
